PERSONAL TRAINER & COACH
Why did you start with Paleo?A good friend of mine an excellent nutrition specialist told me about this type of diet. In combination with sports this type of diet made sense to me and I wanted to test the effect in a self-experiment, as I previously had no clear concept diet.
When did you start?About 1.5 years ago.
What was your motivation?By the people around me who have trained with me and for the most part eaten like me, it was easy to survive the first few weeks and to keep it up.
Was the transition easy? No, I can not say that. Mostly I had to “survive” strong cravings and discipline myself. The fact that I have rarely eat sweets and candy, I did not expect any major difficulties and appetite for sugar, but certainly I actually started to dream of Nutella sandwiches.
Are you absolutely strict? If not, what exceptions are allowed? How often? Not 100%! It is difficult for me to always buy high quality meat and other organic products. Also I am not willing to give up the milk in my coffee. A so-called Chaetingday I have partially taken every Sunday, but it never made me feel well, either physically or mentally. Therefore, no more Cheatingdays.

Paleo is unbounded, limited only to what is good for the body and not on what the food industry tells us every day.
